"Almond milk has benefits for people who want to lose weight, because it is not of animal products, it has no cholesterol," he explained.

In the midst of popularity of almond milk, there is need to consider and take note. Almond milk does not have a lot of protein or calcium to be a substitute for cow's milk entirely. One glass of almond milk has only 1 gram of protein than cow's milk has 8 grams. Besides calcium of almond milk is just 2 milligrams than cow's milk contains 300 milligrams

Alicia Romano, a registered dietitian from Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts Medical Center, said, "Unlike cow's milk and soy milk, almond milk is naturally low in protein."

Maybe a little strange, but in fact 1 ounce of nuts contains 6 grams. But because eventually became milk, which is mostly water, a lot of almonds  nutrients which then disappeared.
