5 Lifestyles To Prevent Flu




The rainy season is synonymous with an attack of flu flu symptoms. Nevertheless, the actual influenza knows no season. Many people do not realize if certain habits can increase the risk of flu. Among such as smoking, infrequent hand washing, and excessive exercise are some of the factors that can lead a person down with the flu. Therefore, experts advise to always implement a healthy lifestyle for the body to ward off a variety of viruses, including influenza virus. Try to get used to do the following in order to avoid interference from the flu virus: 

1.Wash your hands

Frequent hand washing with soap and water can ward off germs that stick. Rub both hands simultaneously at least 20 seconds, then dry hands with a towel or tissue. Keep the work environment such as keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, door handles, and so on.

  
                               2. Avoid touching nose, mouth, and eyes

If you feel that your hands are not free from germs and have not had time to wash it, try not to touch your nose, mouth and your eyes. Flu and colds can be spread from the members of the body. If you cough or sneeze, try to use a tissue, not directly covered by hand. If not possible, use the inside of your elbow.


                                        3. Habituate healthy lifestyle

Ensure enough sleep, eating nutritious food, drink plenty of water, and exercising regularly. Stay hydrated, by drinking 8 glasses of water a day can help remove toxins from the body. While regular exercise such as brisk walking or cycling can help improve the body's ability to fight the virus. However, do not be too excessive in doing it, because it can decrease the immune system. Exercise 5 times a week for 15-30 per session is enough to keep the body fit.


                                     4. Do not smoke and avoid Smoke

Cigarette smoke contains toxins that can paralyze cilia, tiny hairs that line the mucous membranes in the nose and lungs. Cilia work to sweep viruses and other invaders. Cilia also remove mucus from the lungs and generally work to prevent infection. Health experts believe if the cilia function is compromised, then the person will be at high risk of lung infections


                                                      5. Eating yogurt 

The good bacteria in yogurt are useful to prevent colds, according to the National Institutes of Health. The researchers believe that bacteria in yogurt may stimulate the immune system to fight disease. Research shows that people who eat yogurt every day have low risk of colds by about 25%
